Our client is seeking a Network Engineer. The person in this role will design, implement and configure logical and physical network topology. The environment includes CISCO 6500 series, Juniper Firewalls, OSPF and BGP routing.


Responsibilities – Duties include but are not limited to:

• Design, deploy, monitor and maintain corporate network infrastructure to include switches, routers, wireless network infrastructure, firewalls and VPN

• Provide input and network deployment support for client proposal projects

• Develop deployment documentation for network systems



Travel to sites, client meetings, trainings or conferences as requested and required; travel time estimated between 2-3 weeks out of the year.


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree

• Minimum of 3 - 7 years of experience

• Experience designing network deployments for commercial and industrial environments

• Configuration and deployment experience with Cisco and Force10 hardware, to include VPN

• Configuration and deployment experience with Juniper firewalls

• Configuration and deployment experience with Extreme/Enterasys wireless access points and controllers

•Ability to maintain and manage multiple network systems integrated by WAN

•Strong working knowledge and experience with OSPF and BGP routing, along with NAT rules for firewalls and security fundamentals

•Experience developing and deploying access control lists (ACL) for network security

•Experience configuring VLANs and MPLS

• Strong grasp of cable management fundamentals

• Experience creating network documentation and diagrams

•Willingness and flexibility to perform tasks and duties expected and unexpected with a pleasant & professional attitude

• Demonstrates client's vision, values and principles

• Strong written and verbal command of the English language

• Ability and willingness to respond to emails after hours in the event of an emergency, and as times work extended hours

• Responsible attitude with strong work ethic; leading by example in attendance, attitude and technical work product
